**The job:** Track what I've read, what I'm reading, what I want to read, and what I've abandoned (with notes), without the social-network pressure of Goodreads.

I have what my old /about page called a "giant anti-library." Goodreads is the wrong tool for it: too social, too noisy, too far from my notes. So I built my own. Rails backend, native iOS client. Single-user, it's mine. The book list on [/reading](/reading) is curated from it.
